The Pacific Association of Pediatric Surgeons (PAPS) invites you to submit your membership application to join one of the most unique and innovative pediatric surgical societies in the world. Benefits of membership include a significantly discounted meeting registration rate and direct access to hundreds of colleagues around the world. Requirements of each membership category can be found HERE.  Membership dues are as follows:

Active Member: USD$110

Senior Member (>65 y.o. or retired): free

Honorary Member: free

Philip King Member: free

Trainee Member - Fellows and Residents: USD$55; Medical Students: free

Annual membership fees are due the year after membership approval at the next annual meeting. HOWEVER, discounted meeting registration rates apply as soon as your application is submitted!

Applicants must have a current PAPS member sponsor their application. A letter of support from the sponsor is required, plus one additional letter of recommendation from another board certified pediatric surgeon.  Proof of pediatric surgery training qualification (training program certificate OR letter from program director OR board certificate) is also required. PDF format only. Label the files as Surname_GivenName_Letter1.pdf, Surname_GivenName_Letter2.pdf, Surname_GivenName_Proof.pdf.

About Us

Despite PAPS being one of the largest pediatric surgery associations in the world, we share a strong sense of family with fellow members and guests.  We have a lot of fun at meetings, and are much more relaxed than any other surgical society. We don't even allow neckties at any PAPS meeting....wear one and it will be quickly cut off!
